Act of Random Kindness: One Goodness at a Time #ARK "tapped"

I was on my way to work last night - I work night shift by the way. When all of a sudden someone is tapping behind my shoulder. Of course, I was taken aback. Please don’t rape me, I am still a virgin. Just name your price and I'll give you money - in my mind. Lol.

It was a boy likely not more than 10 years old. He is the second younger one in the video. He was poking me non-stop asking for money to buy food. I mean he was persistent. Lol. Then a woman came carrying a baby and beside her was another boy with a sack on his grasp.

This time the woman who happens to be the boy's mother joined-in persistently (lol) asking me for money. As she would put it they haven't eaten yet. It was already ten in the evening and they were still in the street looking for food to eat.

Oh, the third-world country in us (waah). I only got 200 bucks in my pocket. And I have to commute going to work so I spare myself with a 100 pesos for my transportation and gave her the other 100. I am not sure how they would fit the 100 pesos for the four of them.

Oh well, what matters I was able to help them. It saddens me that there are still many people out there struggling to survive for a day. And yet, we hear corruption is rampant within the government.

But then again, at least in our own little way, we're able to help them one way or the other.
